Q: How does Rothwell develop pricing estimates?

A: Our management team develops the preliminary budget for the project. We analyze specifications and develop budgets using historical data and state-of-the-art software. Budgets are then categorized into specific segments. This process enables our clients to not only look at the big picture, but to also look at the cost of specific line items.

Q: What happens if I encounter changes during construction?

A: We anticipate that everyone will make changes throughout the construction process, therefore we have implemented a change order system. The client will approve and sign off on the change order, generated by the project manager, prior to the start of any additional work.

Q: Do you provide project budgets? How do I know where I stand relative to the original budget?

A: Our team estimates project costs, creating cost allowances for each phase according to the approved design. As projects progress, clients and construction managers periodically review the original budgets and costs occurred to-date. When changes arise the Rothwell project manager reviews the situation with clients, and provides recommendations and estimates prior to pursuing the work.

Q: What is the role of my project manager, and how do we work together?

A: The Project Manager is the working foreman and on-site supervisor for your job. He is involved with clients on a daily basis, reviewing specific project details and addressing questions.

Q: I have heard a lot about green or sustainable building, how does Rothwell address these issues?

A: We at Rothwell are committed to improving upon our products while doing the best we can for the greater community. To this end, we are currently in the process of moving towards proving LEED-H certifications for our new projects. Additionally, we are continuously learning about what materials and methods allow for the greatest sustainablity and comfort.
